Fees for Art Therapy Services

We are pleased to share that due to the generous support of our donors, we are able to offer our Community Art Therapy group programs at a significantly reduced rate of $175 per program, making them accessible to more individuals in our community. However, we recognize that even this reduced rate may pose a financial barrier for some members of our community. Therefore, we are pleased to provide income-based financial assistance, offering fee reductions ranging from 50% to 75% for those who qualify.

Please review the information below to see if you qualify for additional financial assistance. Please be advised, whether you are receiving financial assistance or not, registration fees for our Community Group Art Therapy programs are to be paid in their entirety by the invoiced due date. We do not reimburse or adjust fees for missed sessions.

Insurance

Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to accept insurance to pay for services. We do accept vouchers and 3rd-party payors.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance will be determined by a sliding scale based on household income. We offer 50% and 75% fee reductions based on financial need.  We also offer a fixed 25% fee reduction for active military and veterans, first responders, front line and non-profit workers. We use the HHS federal poverty guidelines to determine need. We offer assistance for 10-week Community Art Therapy groups. These fee reductions are made possible by the Christine M. Treu Scholarship Fund

All individuals eligible for financial assistance may only receive the fee reduction toward one 10-week Community Art Therapy program per season. This fee reduction will carry over each registration period in perpetuity unless you communicate to us you no longer need financial assistance. If you miss 3 days during a 10-week session period, you are no longer eligible for the financial assistance fee reduction.

Art Therapy Studio provides valuable art therapy services to individuals who are in need of mental health support. In order to ensure that our resources are allocated in the most effective manner, the following policy has been established regarding eligibility for financial assistance for art therapy services.

Individuals who are currently receiving assistance funds from another agency or organization to pay for services at the Art Therapy Studio are not eligible for financial assistance. This includes individuals who are receiving funding from government programs or other third-party organizations.

The rationale behind this policy is that our financial assistance program is intended to provide support to individuals who would otherwise not be able to afford art therapy services. It is not intended to supplement funding that is already being provided by other sources.

Exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis if the individual can demonstrate that their current funding is insufficient to cover the full cost of their art therapy services. However, such exceptions are not guaranteed and will be granted at the discretion of the Art Therapy Studio.

By adhering to this policy, we can ensure that our financial assistance program is used in the most effective and equitable manner possible, providing access to art therapy services to those who truly need it.

Cancellations & Refunds

Your payment for registration reserves your spot in the program(s) for which you have signed up to attend. Since we have limited spots available, we have updated our refund policy to encourage individuals who need to cancel to do so in enough time for someone else to fill the open spot. We offer a full money back refund for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the first date of the program(s) in which you are registered to attend. There are no refunds for cancellations after 7 days prior to the start of program(s) for which you are registered to attend. There are no refunds for session days you do not attend. If Art Therapy Studio needs to cancel a session day, we will do our best to schedule a make-up date which will be offered at the end of the program.

Every Community Art Therapy program has an enrollment minimum of 4 people for the program to run. If the program fails to achieve 4 enrollments a week before the program begins, participants will be notified and offered the option to transfer to another open program or receive a refund.

Refunds will be issued in the method in which the initial payment was received. We do not hold refunds as “store credit” for future registrations. Once you have cancelled your registration your refund will be issued within 24-48 hours (about 2 days).
