At Art Therapy Studio, we welcome you to explore the transformative power of art and creativity. Whether you’re seeking support for personal growth, stress management, or coping with life’s challenges, our programs are designed to help you thrive through the healing process of art.
Before beginning any of our sessions or programs, all new client-artists participate in a New Client Assessment. This important first step helps us understand your unique goals, needs, and interests. During the assessment, you’ll meet with one of our experienced art therapists to discuss how art therapy or therapeutic art can support your journey.
How to Schedule Your New Client Assessment
Getting started is simple! Here’s how to schedule your assessment:
- Select an Art Therapist/Therapeutic Art Facilitator from the “Provider” menu to the right. For more information on our practitioners please follow this link.
- Choose a date and time that works for you using our availability calendar.
- Complete the form and click the Schedule Now button.
- Wait: Our staff will review your assessment request and send you a Welcome Email and a survey to complete prior to your in-person assessment visit (please be advised that it may take 1-3 business days to receive your Welcome Email).
- Pay the $10 refundable deposit to secure your consultation. Please read our New Client Consultation Policy below.

New Client Consultation Policy
Scheduling and Consultation Fee

All new clients are required to schedule a consultation appointment before enrolling in services.

A $10 refundable deposit is required to secure your consultation appointment.

Our Administrative Office Coordinator will send an invoice for this deposit upon scheduling. Payment must be received prior to the consultation, or the appointment will be automatically cancelled.

If you attend your scheduled consultation, the $10 will be refunded in full.

If you do not attend your consultation and do not provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation, the $10 deposit will be forfeited.
Missed Consultations

If a client misses two (2) scheduled consultations without appropriate notice, any future consultation will require a non-refundable $25 consultation fee.

The Administrative Office Coordinator will invoice this fee prior to the new consultation being scheduled.

This $25 fee is not refunded or credited, regardless of attendance.
Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule their consultation at least 24 hours in advance without penalty.

We ask that clients respect our time and the needs of others waiting for appointments.
This policy is designed to encourage follow-through and reduce no-shows, allowing us to serve clients efficiently and respectfully.
