Partnership Programs
In addition to the programs we operate directly, Art Therapy Studio collaborates with community organizations throughout Greater Cleveland to provide art therapy and therapeutic art services at partner sites.
These programs are funded and coordinated by the host organization and are designed to meet the unique needs of the populations they serve. While facilitated by Art Therapy Studio staff and interns, registration, eligibility requirements, and scheduling are managed directly by each partner organization.
What to Expect
- Art Therapy and Therapeutic Art programs offered at trusted community organizations throughout Greater Cleveland
- Facilitated by credentialed art therapists, supervised art therapy students, or trained therapeutic art facilitators, depending on the program
- Designed to support emotional wellbeing, social connection, creative expression, and personal growth
- Programs tailored to the needs of specific populations, including youth, older adults, individuals with disabilities, people in recovery, caregivers, veterans, and others
- Registration and participation requirements determined by the host organization
Art Therapy groups are facilitated by licensed or credentialed art therapists and may focus on emotional processing, coping strategies, and mental health goals.
Therapeutic Art groups focus on creative engagement, social connection, and personal growth through art-making, and are not psychotherapy.
Because these programs are operated through our community partners, participants must contact the hosting organization directly for information about enrollment, eligibility, and availability.

In Response w/ Art Therapy Studio
Enrollment is through the partner site. Click here for more information.
In Response invites you to engage contemporary art as a starting point for mindfulness, reflection, and meaningful connection at moCa Cleveland. Facilitated by Art Therapy Studio, each session begins with guided time in the galleries, where participants closely observe select works from the exhibitions on view and engage in thoughtful group discussion. Grounded in slowing down and intentional observation, the experience creates space for presence, curiosity, and shared insight.
Following the gallery engagement, participants transition into an accessible, hands-on art-making experience focused on process rather than perfection, encouraging creative response, emotional awareness, and self-expression. Offered on the third Thursday of each month until July 2026, the series is designed to be welcoming to both first-time and returning participants, with a consistent structure that fosters ease and belonging. No prior art experience is needed; come as you are, and respond in your own way.

Session Dates: Ongoing
Session Time: 6:00-7:30 pm
